Frequently Asked Questions

How much material do I need?

Please refer to our soil and materials calculator to determine the amount of topsoil, mulch, or aggregate that you need.

Where do you deliver to and how much does it cost?

We deliver bulk materials to the Quinte area. Generally, from as south as you can go in Prince Edward County to Hwy 7 in Madoc and Marmora and from Brighton to Napanee. Exceptions can apply.

Flat bed material can be delivered to a larger geographic area. We have delivered as far away as Stittsville, Toronto and Bancroft

Small dump truck deliveries begin at $40.00, big dump truck deliveries begin at $50.00 and flat bed deliveries start at $100.00.

Generally, the further you are from our location, the more expensive the delivery will be. Please call for exact pricing for your delivery.

Can I have more than one product delivered at the same time?

Yes. We have several small dump trucks that can carry two products at the same time. The box has a divider in it, so the products are separated. There is an additional $5.00 fee for this service.

For example, if you were looking for four yards of triple mix and 3 yards of mulch, we could deliver it all at one time.

Total yardage that can be delivered at one time, depends on the products being ordered.

What is the biggest amount of product I can get delivered?

Our tri-axle can carry up to 20 cubic yards of soil or 18 yards of aggregates. Our small dump trucks can carry up to 12 yards of material if the material is not heavy. Soils and gravels are generally maxed out by weight restrictions at 6 or 7 cubic yards

Is there a minimum quantity that I need for delivery?

We will deliver as little as one cubic yard.

How long does it take to get my product delivered?

We try to deliver with our dump trucks on the same day as the order is placed, or the next business day.

Flat bed deliveries can usually be delivered the next business day, as long as the product is available at our site.

Do I need to be home for delivery?

It is always best to have someone on site. We will always try to get the product where you want it, but sometimes, we just can’t get the product exactly where you want it.

If you can’t be home when we deliver, a marker, or a tarp is a big help, but again, it’s always best to be on site.

Our drivers do not want to damage your property, our vehicles, or get stuck. As a result, our driver has the final say on where he can dump your product.

Are products returnable?

Bulk products are non-returnable. Prepackaged products can be returned with a restocking charge.
